Paraakhya developed a custom Chrome Extension that injects TalentScout's power directly into the browser, creating a seamless overlay on top of LinkedIn.
1. Intelligent DOM Injection (React Sidebar)
We didn't just build a popup; we built a robust sidebar using React.js. When a recruiter visits a LinkedIn profile, the extension automatically detects it and slides out a "Mini-Dashboard."
- Feature: It instantly checks if the candidate already exists in the database. If yes, it shows their status. If no, it offers a "One-Click Add" button.
We implemented intelligent parsing algorithms that securely extract public profile data (Name, Experience, Skills) and format it into a JSON structure compatible with TalentScout's API.
- Result: What took 5 minutes of typing now takes 2 seconds of parsing.
Google recently overhauled their extension architecture. While competitors were struggling with the transition, we built TalentScout’s extension on the new Manifest V3 standard from day one, ensuring better security, battery performance, and long-term compliance with the Chrome Web Store.
